The Unconscious Masses

You can lead a human to knowledge, but you can’t make him think.

The world today is not suffering from a coronavirus pandemic. It is suffering from a pandemic of unconscious living. The reason our country was shut down, the reason why masks are “mandated,” the reason why there is so much fear out there is because the populous is in an unconscious state of existence. They are reacting out of fear instead of responding out of logic.

There is a difference between reacting and responding to a particular stimulus. Responding is acting in a thoughtful way to a situation. Reacting is acting based off of habit and programming. For example, if you go to a doctor, and they give you a treatment, if the treatment goes wrong, they say your body “reacted” poorly to the treatment. However, if the treatment works, they say that your body “responded” well. That is the difference.

The state of reaction is also commonly called the “fight-or-flight” mechanism. It’s a mechanism, a program if you will, of self preservation. It is the lowest state of consciousness that we can live in because our root chakra is the one that deals with these emotions. It is based on fear and is the definition of base consciousness.

Let me give you an example that we all can relate with: the dreaded covid-19 scamdemic. When the media first had their big announcement that it was dangerous, what happened? The infamous toilet paper panic. People’s reaction was fear, which the mainstream media outlets are masters of promoting and propagating. No one stopped to ask why.

Think about something you fear the most. If our body is in this state of reactivity, we will either fight what we fear, or we will run from it. That is not the way to handle it because the problem doesn’t go away. If we’re fighting the problem, we are acknowledging its existence and if we continue to see it as a fight the problem will never really disappear. If we run from a problem, of course, we’re only postponing it. Instead of having this tension that keeps holding us in this state, we must learn to release it and process the trauma behind it. Once we release the tension, fear, guilt, shame, guilt, and any other trapped emotions we have bottled up that are keeping us in bondage, we are free to make our own choices. The reason why we were never taught this in school is because this makes us independent. Once we realize that we are independent and we don’t need anyone to think and act for us, the government becomes irrelevant. Those in power have used fear throughout all of history by those in control to maintain that control. Once we learn to move past this constant fear state, their tactics fall apart. They become unneeded and their power vanishes because the only authority someone has over us is what we give them.

For the past couple months I have had this awakening that stems from my own healing journey. It’s almost as if I have a new pair of glasses on. In the past couple months, I have been more consciously aware of recognizing other people’s “unthinking.” It’s weird because once I started to recognize more and more when I was slipping into this state, I began to recognize when other people were in this state – almost as if my empathetic abilities went up a few notches. I’m not saying this to be – as someone might accuse me – condescending or arrogant. I’m telling you this because I want you to have this same same ability, to be able to spot when you are slipping into unconsciousness and pull out of it.

Jim Rohn said it best when he said, “Make sure what you believe is the product of your own conclusions.” Don’t blindly follow what someone says “because they said so.” Don’t just believe something just because someone in a position of respect or authority said it. Question everything you have ever been taught. I say this for myself as well. As a matter of fact, I urge you to not just take my word for it. Study these things for yourself.
